Sandwich, MA - The oldest town on Cape Cod overflows with New England charm. The Village Center is steeped in history and begins at Shawme Pond. A walk in the Village can take you to three museums, fine dining, boutique and antique shops, and the famous Sandwich Boardwalk - named one of Top 10 in the US by National Geographic for its postcard-worthy views.
Whether a year-round resident or visitor, there are saltwater beaches along Cape Cod Bay, a public boat ramp at the Sandwich Marina, conservation areas for hiking, Mill Creek and Scorton Creek for kayaking, a thriving arts and cultural community, public and private golf courses, and very special attractions that have captured the hearts of many.

Crossing the Sagamore Bridge, Sandwich is accessed at the first four exits from Route 6 making it a central location for commuters and day trippers to Boston, Providence and Provincetown.

The town of Sandwich, located on Cape Cod, in Barnstable County, was incorporated in 1639. The town covers 44.4 square miles and features miles of coastline along Cape Cod Bay. It is the first town after crossing the Sagamore Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal. Population as of the 2010 census was 20,675, primarily year-round residents. The fact that Sandwich is the first town over the Bridge with easy access to Boston and Providence, as well as the historic ambiance of  the Village, makes this a very attractive community for year round residents and second home owners.

Cape Cod Canal Visitor CenterCelebrating 100 years, the Cape Cod Canal is an engineering marvel. Educational exhibit, recreational area, bike path, and public boat ramp for all to enjoy.
